The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

You’re going waste a lot of strikeouts when RAJ expands his zone trying to do too much in front of Brian McCann

Ender sucks and we don’t have other options Unless you want Markakis up there. If Camargo was starting, which he should be, he’d be up there
It that scenario I’d be fine with Markadick up there (🥴). That’s if Ozzie wants to continue playing hero ball. We can not afford dead at bats at the top. Markadick will at least take some pitches and move runners.

Is Boston wasting Mookie Betts?
RAJ is going to end up with more power potential IMO. I don't get what's so egregious about hitting him 2nd or 3rd; especially in a lineup that's a bat short. Great to have him at the top of the order, but I'm not sure it makes sense to have a guy slug .500+ with nobody on base.

But it’s literally the same if Ender is leadoff. No one will be on base.

The issue is he literally played like one of the elite guys in baseball leading off and was very comfortable there. JD should be 3rd or 4th but that’s not going to be the case. I just think it will effect RAJ the most

The good thing about Markadick, Dansby, Ender, and Ozzie is that they are all capable of .280 and .350 OBP with decent pop. If we could get 2/3 of them to put up those numbers this offense can go. We just don’t have any margin of error, unfortunately. And that’s from not adding another bat this offseason.

Jmo but Ozzie is the only one with a chance at decent pop out of those guys. Camargo too if he actually got 500+ ABs.

Ozzie seems like the obvious answer up there - he just has to get right.

Interestingly enough, what does this lineup look like if JD is injured?

Yeah, Ozzie’s problem is his power doesn’t come naturally. He could hit 20+ a year if really wanted to but it’s gonna come with a price. If he just focused on line shots and gaps he could hit 50 doubles a year.

Wren gets some s hit sometimes, but without him signing FF to that super team friendly 8 year deal, and without his regime digging out Acuna we would be a very bad spot.
