The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Would definitely be interested, like AV alluded to though would need to make sure it is full of people that would actually stick through a baseball season. Been in too many leagues that have only one to two people actually playing by the time June rolls around

Agreed

I think that’s why it’s nice to focus around this thread. We’re all here all year.

And for that reason I must respectfully decline my invite. I’ve tried fantasy baseball before and, as much I love being in this thread and keeping up with the Barves all season, I just can’t keep up with the entire league well enough to be a good participant. And that was before I had a kid.

Same here, I only really watch the Braves. I'd be lost and bored with it.

It’s intimidating for sure. Fantasy baseball isn’t casual like football.

I’ve only done it the past two years. I think it’s fun when you get a lot of people who really like the sport.

Yeah, that ownership that cares about winning sure has brought them great results. Coming off of a 66 win season and their most successful year since taking over as ownership in 2012 was a 77 win season
And they're doing what they can to change it. What are the Braves doing? We won the east last year and we are actually under what payroll was for last year while the NL east is making major moves. There are 4 major free agents. The Braves aren't seriously involved in any of them. Why?

I played for years in daily transaction leagues. It just got to be way too much.

There was a time in my life where I would’ve loved to jump in with both feet and probably followed everything TOO much. Alas, that time in my life is not now.

Not going to sit here and rehash the same argument that has been had over and over again. Sure it has been a disappointing off-season but the Padres ownership has done absolutely nothing to indicate that they can win. They have had six years and have not really sniffed a winning record and while they have been busy losing the braves have been completing a rebuild ahead of most realistic schedules and oh yeah as you said winning the NL East last year as you said. Again I get it, it has been a disappointing off-season, but let's not get carried away.
