The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

He’s not better than zeke man. You can bet against a team and still see that lol
Weird hill for a non Cowboys fan to want to die on but okay. I’m not sure there’s a definitive way to say one is objectively better than the other for the long term/career but, until Gurley got dinged up late, it’d be pretty hard to argue he wasn’t the best back in the league this season.

Why does the Hawks coach play 11 guys with stupid ass substitution patterns?

Either he is a titanic dumbass or he's just subbing guys in with zero regard for winning the game. My assumption is #2. There are plenty of guys on Hawks forums [1] who are super pissed about it but I don't think they understand what the goal of this year is.

Even with the latest modification, it's always blown my mind how willing the NFL is to let games get decided by a coin flip. Might as well save time and just play Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Apparently according to the numbers, under the current OT rules, the team that possess the ball first wins 50% of the time. The team that possesses it second wins 44.1% of the time and 5.9% of the time it ends in a tie. That is far more balanced than I would have anticipated. Still stupid that the Chiefs best player never even got to touch the ball and give them a chance though.

You would think that you would want Trae and John to get into a rhythm regardless of outcome. This dude pulls them 3 mins into every game lol.

Maybe he's trying to stagger them away from the other team's starters? I dunno what he's doing, honestly. The Hawks' only three-man lineup with a net positive rating is Young/Collins/Red Velvet (aka Kevin Heuter) and he does give them a lot of run together but he's clearly not trying to win many games. Which I'm all right with.

I troll the Luka pick all the time and still obviously think he was the right choice, but those 3 are a good young core to build around. Not sure what that leads to, but a good start.

I’ll look like an idiot when a Realmuto trade gets announced in two hours but I really think AA decided to pull back and “lengthen the window” once the Mets and Nats decided to go for it this year.
