The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Need draft advice:

I’m in a 10 man PPR Keeper league. Gurley, Hopkins, and Kamara are being kept by other teams later. So, I can keep Keenan Allen in the third round or Adam Thielen in the seventh round. Who should I take? Also, who should I select with the fifth overall pick? Thielen is the better value, but with the previous 3 I mentioned already off the board, I’m worried if I don’t take Allen then I will have third and fourth round talents to choose from when it gets back to me in the 2nd round. Also worries about Thielen falling off from the amount of targets Diggs, Rudolph, Cook and Treadwell will have. I’ll hang up and listen.

Go Thielen. Allen could be great value, but he could also get hurt week 1 and kill you. You should still be able to get an elite talent at pick 5 in the first (I would go RB personally) and still get a great player once it comes back to you in the 2nd round. At 5, someone like Zeke, David Johnson, or Saquan could fall to you. This is all JMO though, so no promises that it'll work out.

Don't try to be too cute, keep Keenan. He's not as injury prone as people think.

I'd bet the house that Zeke and DJ and guys in that tier will be kept by their previous owners. Barkley will probably be the 1st guy taken so you're probably looking at 2nd or 3rd round guys with the 5th pick.

Our keepers work in the since that since Allen was my 4th rounder last year, he’d be my 3rd rounder this year. 1st round picks can’t be kept. So there’s still studs available. I’m looking at 5th to select from Zeke, Antonio, Melvin, Fournette, OBJ, Julio. I don’t think Barkley will be good behind that trash OL

Oh ok, id still keep Allen lol. I'm with you on Barkley, i won't take him in the 1st.

So we were doing Acuña/Trout comparisons and one thing sometimes forgotten about Trout is he has 134 PA before his incredible 2012 season. So I was curious and took out Acuña’s performance before the injury where he had 129 PA’s. Since his injury he’s had 198 PA. Here’s him and Trouts 2012 season

Trout: .326/.399/.564/.963

Acuña: .298/.372/.643/1.015

LEADING MAN – Behold the greatness of Ronald Acuña Jr.

  • Manny Machado led off 120 games for the Orioles over four seasons. He hit four leadoff home runs. Ronald Acuña Jr. has hit five in the last two weeks.
  • Kirby Puckett led off 417 games for the Twins over four seasons. He hit four leadoff homers. Ronald Acuña Jr. just did that in four games in a row.
  • And Rickey Henderson hit more home runs leading off the first inning (88) than anyone who ever lived. He never hit five in any calendar month. And Ronald Acuña Jr. has hit five in the last two weeks.

I’d keep Thielen in the 7th. Better value IMO

Would yall keep Melvin Gordon in the 4th or McCaffery in the 10th? I have been thinking Gordon but I'm starting to change my mind, it's half point ppr.
