The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Wouldn't bother me either. Their broadcasts are painful at times. The game becomes secondary to unrelated interviews and ARod's deep thoughts.

ESPN only has baseball for July/August games because of the dead time between NBA/NFL and for Wild Card weekend games. Everything going through FOX/TBS (or maybe NBC or CBS could pick up some national games) would be fine with me. ESPN has shown little interest in promoting baseball over the last 20 years. I would caution Manfred trying to add more streaming avenues on a national level when his fanbase is the oldest of the four major sports though.

Nuked!

The impression I get is that many LV fans expect and demand a Pat-level of domination in a sport that has gotten so much deeper since she left. It's a no win job as you said because what many fans want to achieve, I think, is impossible. The world's biggest d-bag Geno doesn't even achieve at that level anymore, and 2 of the best programs in that sport are in the SEC now.

The LVs weren't even awful this year (5th in SEC) but you'd think they'd gone 0-16 based on some of the comments the fans make.
Yeah. They are some who don't want to admit how for Women's College Basketball has come over the last 35 years. I'm old enough to remember when it was the Lady Vols and Louisiana Tech that was the top 2 power houses in WCBB then along came Texaa and UConn and then you had others that started to become relevant in the sport over the years like Stanford, Rutgers, Baylor, UNC, LSU, South Carolina.

It's almost to the point where like the Men's tournament you can have a team come out of nowhere in March and be in the Championship picture.

12 teams have won since 1990. 6 of them multiple times. 19 have in men's in the same period. 7 multiple times.

*I don't think LSU would have won without KM
