Is Harper comparable to $300M + over way too many years... NOPE...

You really want to throw that much cap at Harper and cripple yourself for five years in being able to keep the farm with this ownership...

Harper isn't even in his prime yet. He would knock in so so many runs with Acuna and Albies in front of him.

There's not a safe bat in the minors. Pache certainly isn't.

Fine, say... dude, ya wanna win championships or get paid and cripple any chance to win with a massive contract? If he says he wants to win now and will take a reasonable contract, go for it. But if he wants $400M for an absurd amount of years let someone else oblige that mindset.

How? I’m anti Harper bc, well, I’m anti Harper. I’d rather root for a guy that I didn’t used to hate but I know that’s nonsensical fan ****. Having said that, you can’t just say we’ll figure that out when we get there with our ownership and tv deal.

New TV deal coming up at some point and our revenue quadrupled moving stadiums. Time for them to sack up.
