He's had the reputation everywhere he's been as being a subpar recruiter. I believe the VQ guys even used the term "lazy" when describing his recruiting style when he was hired.

It's not his fault he got the job - and I'm sure he's trying his best to land these guys. It just ain't gonna happen.

Yeah, I agree with this. Just really unfortunate timing for him, and he isn’t an elite recruiter to overcome all of the negativity. Sucks in the meantime, but his player development could overcome some of it.

Regularly put 40 points on the board and send anyone of note to the league and everything else will take care of itself

Kiffin wasn't coming here. We are a program six feet under facing NCAA violations with an open transfer portal.

Our best hope is to develop one of these QBs on the roster and score a lot of points. And we've got a shot at that.

Is there a source other than forums and twitter? It just doesn't make sense. We are in similar shape to what he failed at with USC, with less talent and an open portal, and we haven't been relevant in 20 years. He'd be crazy to come here. That's why we ended up with a UCF staff that was replaced by better coaches.
