Why would you use dishwashing soap and on cast iron you will RUIN it! YOU'R DESTROYING THE SEASONING......

I don't even know who I am talking to now... you all liked that! It was horrible! It's peverse! Your cast iron degenerates.

FIRE and LARD are all it needs. Maybe a lil water now and then.... if you left it unattended and fed up maybe coarse salt and maybe a cloth. That's it.

Please tell me I just witnessed sarcasm and didn't recognise it. I do that.
