Well friends and family, it's that time of year. I'm personally sitting in row 6 of HH, but I'd probably make the leap out of pure excitement and the fall won't hurt nearly as bad as the last decade of losses to Florida.

They'll try to intimidate us with police and security, but there won't be nearly enough. So when the clock hits 00:00 and our Vols have more points than the Gators, are we doing this?

Ultimate showing of respect for an opponent...usually reserved for unexpected wins over a team you don't expect to beat.

Doesn't fit the narrative this year...

UT should storm the field if the beat alabama--that would be a major upset. Tenn will be a huge favorite over florida.

If we beat Bama......storm the field. If we beat Florida, yawn and leave the stadium......but that is just me.

Go Vols!:D

Chicken counting time of the year.

Counting your chickens before they hatch.

Best time of year because everybody is undefeated and hope springs eternal. GBO

I'd love to see the players just walk around calmly shaking the Florida players' hands, while the crowd calmly gives a standing ovation, then everyone goes home.

Storming the field would be ridiculous.

If we beat Bama......storm the field.

Again,

Gave you a like for the leap from HH. But don't do it, man. Seriously. Don't do it.

I like to think of it more as a fanbase way of mooning the other guys.

But you interpret however you like, if it happens. :)

Call it...a release of built up frustration.

Yes. Amen.

If we have beat Georgia, Florida, and then win a close game against Bama then we should storm the field. To celebrate a soon to be playoff run and the official return of Tennessee Football as an elite program. But unless we win on a last second field goal or something crazy, we shouldn't storm the field against Florida.

I am row 2 in HH, and I'll be jumping and so excited that I might end up in H along with you on the fall, because this streak has hurt so much, and will feel so good to be over.

Even though, i believe all vol fans will be super excited to finally end the streak, this wont be the game to storm the field. IF a field will be stormed, it needs to be after we beat Bama, but only if they are ranked higher than us.

If these boys FINALLY beat a team that so many before them couldn't, they deserve to see a big time celebration like that. Can you imagine what a checkerboard stadium unfolding on national Tv would look like? Just imagine the highlights from that. And no one would judge us or call us silly for doing this. It's been 11 years. 11....

I agree with this. Unless it's a last minute win, we shouldn't. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing it either. Because it would mean, we FINALLY did it!

Personally I think it looks Busch league to storm the field. I would hope everybody refuses to show Florida or bama any respect at all.
Just sayin  embarrassed if it happens

I agree. It's got to fit the situation. The 11 year streak alone does not make it worthwhile if we are favored by a couple of TD's.

If we are undefeated going into the Bama game, and are the underdogs in that game, and win.....sure....go for it.

Storming the field is not my thing, but hey, as long as it's done in the right situation, I'm not going to bit** about others doing it.

As for the team. I hope they stay classy, regardless of who we beat.

Act like you have been there before, even if you have not. Do not storm the field against UF. Bama is deserving if they are number 1 but they will not forget and we may face the repercussions later.

Pish posh on the "act like you been there before" argument.

Instead, act like you enjoy life. Celebrate, have fun, throw your arms in the air, jump up and down, buy a bottle of champagne, celebrate with childish abandon. You only get to live it once.

Storm the dang field if the mood hits you, and don't worry about the guys with their hands in their pockets trying to look cooler than everyone else.

Go Vols!

I'll call you silly for rushing the field against a team Vegas says you should beat by 12 points.

Tennessee fans are already considered a joke. Don't make us anymore of a laughstock by rushing the field against a team most think we should destroy.
