I am not normally one for conspiracies or curses but I have found a pretty interesting correlation. It seems that most of the teams that are sponsored by adidas are washed up and are well beyond there glory days. For example...Tennessee, Notre Dame, Nebraska, UCLA, and Michigan. It seems like adidas has a knack for sponsoring teams with lots of tradition but are just washed up

Some other interesting notes are that no adidas sponsored team has won the national championship since guess when.... the 98 vols won. Since then every national championship team has been sponsored by nike. Coincidence?

Normally, I'm not one to insult people online. But threads like this make me question how some of you get online to spread stupidity like this in the first place.

Threads like this make me scratch my head as to how some people are able to figure out how to register and post on the forum.

I'd say cable or DSL, but it is possible the "stupid" ones are still on dial-up.

Has anyone won with Under Armour?

And just out of curiosity, how many more teams are sponsored by Nike than Adidas/Under Armor/Other?

I didn't say I was cool.

....this is one big whackjob family. I didn't treat you any differently than I would my own brother, if he said something like that.

It's not personal. I kid because I care and while the theory is odd, it's as about as believable as santa claus.

You didn't answer my question...How many more Nike teams are there? Doesn't it make sense that the company who sponsors more schools is going to have more schools win NC's?

yeah thats true but it is just odd that the handful of teams that adidas sponsor are the washed up ones

The reason for that is simple....NIKE sponsors a LOT more teams than Adidas...Adidas takes good care of us...Nike never would....Besides, It's just a JERSEY or a pair of SHOES...Doesn't change the player who puts them on...Just because you own the same style of shoes as Michael Jordan doesn't mean you will play basketball like Michael Jordan...This thread is stupid
