I've never been to a Wal Mart that was posted no carry. When I first heard about this yesterday, I was surprised that there wasn't a lot of return fire by other shoppers.

There was a guy here in Kingsport that came into a dental office and shot and killed his wife. A patient in the waiting room was carrying and shot him before he could hurt anyone else.

I wish the news would stop glamorizing this stuff. Stop giving the shooter's name and stop showing his/her face. Just arrest, have trial, execute. Would be more of a deterrent to send the message that this doesn't get you famous, it gets you executed.

Another deterrent would be making it more difficult to get weapons that kill in mass numbers at high rates of speed and if dark-skinned people were less demonized by the current administration

Which part is difficult to believe? That if it was more difficult to get guns, fewer eventual mass murderers might have the weaponry to carry out that shooting? Or that the president stokes fear and hatred of dark-skinned people on almost a daily basis?
