Morgan Wallen is amazing without all of the enhancements if you’ve ever had a chance to watch his unplugged version he is just as good as he is during concert. Plus like someone else said he’s from the area and is all VOL!!

I love the sentiment of the song, but it's hard to swallow lines like "where at least I know I'm free" when we're not.

Being a patriot is demanding more freedom, not complacently accepting what we have.

I haven't but I will, and reserve critique until. I'm just not a fan of all the AI generated "Music" these days, vocal enhancements and pitch corrections. Most of the "Artists" can't carry a tune in a "lard bucket".

Yep. I grew up on all that. Allman Bros, Neil Diamond, Percy Sledge, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard. When you boil it all down , there wasn't that much difference between The Allman Brothers & Merle. Both excellent lyrically, musically, CLEAN, Real & soothing to the ears. Allman Brothers were just louder, lol

As far as Country Music goes, EVERY singer should be measured against the best ever; Merle Haggard. Listen to Merle's early stuff. Working Man Blues, Mama Tried, Sing me back home. I dare you. That is the standard against which all others fail and always will.

Morgan Wallen being so polarizing is simply a case of new school vs old school. People that grew up on old country think he's trash because he's a different type of country. Just like people like me who grew up Eminem, Lil Wayne, 36 Mafia, T.I, 50, etc think all modern rap/hip hop is complete trash. Personally I think MW has a few bangers but for the most part not my cup of tea. Which is exactly how I feel about most modern rap. Morgan Wallen isn't that bad, we're just getting old.

No worries. But just for the record, I have not offered an opinion about any song choice -- or even whether or not a song is necessary at all. I do take exception, however, to any casual dismissal of ACDC, one of the greatest rock bands and best-selling musical acts of all-time.

However, now that I know that you are serving in the greatest army the world has ever known, I am happy to give you a pass and just agree to disagree. Thank you for your service, my friend.

"Great rock band" is subjective and there are tons from that same era that I find better and more authentic. That being said they have plenty of songs that I enjoy. But when I say cheesy let me explain it better. They are stadium rock. Like powderpuff little league football rock... kinda like The Wiggles for adults. I won't get into the receptiveness because I don't want to get that deep in convo.
