The 2017 NBA Finals Thread

I can't believe I'm going to say this. PLAY Shumpert more

Kyrie is playing terrible. There have been several instances where Golden State could shut the door on this game, but the Cavs are just hanging around. Kyrie will not play this poorly all night.

Has been all along, but the most underrated and remarkable part of KD joining forces was always the crazy impact on defense. So so long.

Now is when LBJ needs to play like MJ instead of Magic, and tell everybody to get the **** out of his way.

KD doesn't deserve a ring. If you can't be a leader for the Thunder, then just be a follower and join the most stacked team in the NBA? Durant won't be respected even if he wins the finals. It's the reason why the NBA finals are turning into a one man team.

You mean like when LeBron joined DWade (who was at the time one of the top 5 players in the league) and Bosh (perceived to be an up and coming superstar) and Ray Allen (an all time great shooter?) Instead of being a "leader" for Cleveland?

Cleveland is slow, cant defend. Cant shoot. Offense is basically 1v1 every trip. They tried to make this a 3pt contest in the 3rd and got punished. Maybe the worst defense ive ever seen in the Finals.

This ain't even a fair comparison. The Warriors would be in the finals this year without KD. If James never went to the Heat, they wouldn't have won the finals that year.

Idk, if he stays in OKC, it's probably OKC. They added VO and the Warriors lost Barnes.

Not even close to the same. No guarantee blending those guys together would bring titles with San Antonio being what it was. KD joined a team that won a Championship then next season went 73-9 and was in game 7 that had they won would be back to back. Everyone knew that chemistry would work as they can all have an off night and a superstar is there to light up the score board.
