The 2014 E3 Thread (June 10-12)

That last game was called No Man's Sky. Looks interesting (from Hello Games)

Claiming the computer creates an infinite universe.

Each person starts on a different planet in that universe, so they say no two experiences end up exactly the same.

Joking about Microsoft's stopping the inclusion of the Kinect by talking about their PS4 camera

Looks like they're about to talk about VR gaming. "Project Morpheus"

Wow, they brought out Brian Michael Bendis.

Sony doing something with Powers...maybe a series?

GTA 5, as previously mentioned, this fall

And as mentioned as well, Arkham Knight game footage (looks like scarecrow is a main villain)

Nintendo's Digital Event (as a heads up, they does this type of thing at intervals throughout the year, so they almost treat this as less a big event).

I'm just going to do one long post for this rather than a series of posts at each announcement:

Mii character in Smash Bros (as Brawler, sword fighter, or gunner)

Nintendo delays 3DS Smash Bros from Summer to Fall

Talked about figurines being made for Smash Bros to be used with the WiiU's NFC (Each figurines will retain individual level data and beefed up stats for customized Smash characters -- this will include support for custom move sets. ") Will be released for Mario Kart as well)

Yoshi's Wooley World showed; Wii U Toad's treasure tracker

New WiiU Zelda announced for 2015 (trailer below; not to be confused with the Zelda game that the Dynasty Warriors people are making, Hyrule Warriors)

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to be released Nov 21st

Showed Bayonetta 2 (comes with original Bayonetta apparently)

Showed Hyrule Warriors (From the Dynasty Warriors people; 2 player mode, one on TV and on screen; play as various characters from series; 9/26/14)

Showed a Wii U touchscreen based Kirby game (Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, 2015)

Showed a game space based/ship based/mech based game? (Xenoblade Chronicles, 2015)

Showed what looks like a level designer/maker for the original mario bros and new super mario bros U (Mario Maker, 2015)

Showed a clip of something that looked like a paintball shooter? (Splatoon; territory control; 8 players, 4 on 4; showing a lot of players sinking into the paint shot and waiting to ambush them

Showed Smash Bros again, but this is animated (looks like a trailer for another character, Pauletena from Kid Icarus)

Lots of Robot Chicken-based clips for Smash Bros in between the clips.

Wii U exclusive game revealed afterwards: Devil's Third

I think either in LA or across the country they're allowing people to play the new smash bros at best buy either today or this week.

As mentioned above, here's the discussion and trailer of the new zelda game for wii u:

Discussion up to about 2:58; trailer from 2:58 to 3:42. Seems to have a very open world focus.

Btw, if anyone here is a robot chicken fan, here's the clips they made for Nintendo's Digital Event (took a while for them to be uploaded). It's the intro they used plus some scattered clips throughout the show:
