There seems to be a thread that claims NS has the job locked up for next season. That is not really the case as Lane said it will be open competition. Simms was not brought in to be a body like NL or the staff would have not wasted a scholly in the first place; they would have used it on a 2011 QB or another needed prospect.

He's 6' 6", 185 as listed. But I've heard that he's at least 200 now, and will probably be at 225 after Ausmus is done with him.

Thanks for playing, but we're not nearly as uninformed as you. Troll...

Hubbers said that he would be suprised if he touched anywhere near 200 now. from the looks of it i would say he is still 185. What gets me is how in the world are you that tall and that skinny. Yeah, he may have a cannon, but still. good gosh.

I have seen tall and skinny guys not fill their frame before; seen them eat but not gain weight. I say let Ausmus take care of this.

look bray is young but i am telling you i have seen him play for the last 6 years of his life and i am telling you Coach is not going to loose to much sleep over deciding who to start next years. Bray is a god given talent at the QB position. you are going to be so thankful he chose the Orange and White.

No clue. It all depends on how spring and fall camp goes. I think if Bray can learn the system and put on some weight, I think he'll win the job. Otherwise, it will be between Simms and Stephens.

Don't overlook Lamaison. The kid can play. He will get a fair shot at competing for the job. This is the story of his life. Never getting the credit he is due and being overlooked. He's sitting patiently and quietly waiting his turn. Learning and getting better daily. Hardworker and determined young man. You'll all see the true Lamaison next season.

Yes im related to him, so i know the real story.

Well looks like the wait is over as an OP has declared Nick Stephens will be your starter next season. There goes Spring Practice for you.

Will you stop whining for the love of God? i am not even the OP of the said thread and you get on my nerves...sorry he made a thread that was somewhat similar to yours...:cray:

This being the only year he has a "real shot"

If he fails to beat Simms which on all accounts he will he wont ever play a down while at UT. Unless a disaster happens.
