I agree, but this time it's payback time. :) Im starting to wonder if coach Anderson is going to take the Bama job after this season because there is some talk about it. His base income is only $850,000 where he is now.

I think Missouri might be willing to increase his pay just a bit. :)

Not sure why he would take the Bama job to be honest. It would only seem like a slight step up in a weaker conference (possibly a good thing to some people). But he would be 2nd to Saban of course no matter how well he does.

No idea on what kind of facilities Mizzou has - he'll get a raise this season that's for sure.

They built a brand new, $75 million arena about four years ago (called Mizzou Arena, appropriately enough). It's a top-notch facility.

Mike Anderson was the last CUSA coach to beat Calipari's Memphis team......

This was done at UAB with considerably less talent

Pitt looks vulnerable, for sure--but they are a tough-minded group. I think nearly all of the Sweet 16 games look great: Basically, all of the big boys are left, and they will now start playing each other. The real competition begins. Looking forward to seeing some of these games. The current TV system sucks---we should have all the games on different cable channels, rather than seeing snippets from CBS. That does not work.

.....and Anderson and Dozier as freshmen. While this team does not have the talent that one did, it has a will to win that the 2005-2006 team did not.

I look for a grind it out game like the Memphis-UT game. Mizzou has athletes that thrive on chaos of pressing and running the floor. In a meat grinder, Tigers will win going away.
