All I saw on the video was him slapping a guy, which started the fight with ONE individual. The others that jumped and started the fight, made that decision to gang up on one person and start the melee.

I haven't watched it all, but it's been reported he was using racial slurs while doing it. He was obviously drunk and belligerent do it's certainly believable. If all that is true he's at least responsible for inciting the riot.

The ones that beat him are responsible for their actions too.

No, he got more than he deserved, multiple people jumping a dude who couldn't defend himself is easy more than he deserved. But he did help to create the circumstances that led up to it. He's responsible for that, nothing more. The rest is on the others and they should face justice too.

You cannot just up and slap people. He should face applicable charges for that battery.

You also cannot wild out because someone called you a name. Mean words are not justification for jumping someone.

The one video where the N-word is being yelled, was from another fight that was separate from the mass beating group.

The guy was intoxicated, being an idiot and screaming it at grown men walking away from him. They realized that fool wasn't worth the effort.

Should have been between him and the other individual only. Getting kicked in the head and abdomen by 5 + individuals at the same time is beyond excessive. Had one of those hits resulted in him losing consciousness, he would no longer have been able to protect his head and would have likely been DOA.

Trump being in office has zero bearing on idiots like this. It would be the equivalent of someone on the right claiming that because a Democrat got elected minorities feel comfortable going on crime sprees with no consequences.
