Imagine if it’s a rope used to pull up materials to a scaffold or something. Now someone will be fired, possibly charged, and everyone else undergoes training for tying more inclusive knots.

People still occasionally get their chins checked on the job in my line of work man. Construction workers arent the same as the type of folks working in office jobs in suits and ties etc. For them to even offer counseling is absolutely ridiculous and probably only because its an NFL stadium with all the kneeling and BLM nonsense. I am with you man...what in the world is wrong with these people?

Also...do you know how many white people have been hung with a noose? I would bet my left nut its WAY more white folks than black based only on population numbers. That was the primary means of execution for hundreds of years.

I tell you what...when i see 4 or more horses together it really makes me feel threatened as a white man. All those times that white people were drawn and quartered in the past really weighs heavy on my soul. Why dont yall cut me a disability check for my PTSD and i will just sit on the couch for the rest of my life. Makes perfect sense.

I did read a study on this years ago regarding lynching in the US. While not not quite sure, I want to say the time period covered was post-War. The numbers were roughly 50-50 if I recall correctly.

why should anyone celebrate just about anything?

it ended slavery in this country. thats a good thing worth celebrating.

much better than celebrating an italian guy who landed on america 300 years after other Europeans had discovered the continent, about 500 years after asian civilizations learned about the continent, and ten of thousands of years after people were already living here.

100%. They would catch Hell forever. Likely in Spanish these days though. The overwhelming majority of construction workers are latinos now. As wages in trades continue to rise that will change though. You can earn a good living as a plumber, electrician or HVAC tech already. Make more $$$ than a lot of college grads in a few years. Its just dirty, hot, cold, heavy etc kind of work so not everyone is cut out for it.
