Just because you can means little. Hell anyone can. But would you?I'll call anyone anything I want and have..
You struggle at gaslighting. There is no excusing her behavior, which has been established. One of us has condemned both while the other is making excuses using terms like “may have”.
Why do you keep repeating the victim was a football player? I find that very odd...... Especially considering both played football.
There it is. Race baiting. Why would I condemn a situation where I don't know all the facts? A kid stabbed another kid. Awful situation but if he's claiming self-defense, why would I condemn him if I wasn't there? You might be willing to condemn black people for crimes without knowing all the facts but I'll reserve judgment until the trial when we find out what really happened. If he really stabbed the white kid without a legitimate self-defense argument then I'll condemn him but as of now I don't have all the facts so I'll reserve judgment.

Based on the facts as have been reported by police and witnesses do you find his claims of self defense plausible?
Where have you read about a fight between Karmelo and the twins? I haven't seen that. That's why I'm asking because what I've read from CNN and Fox are pretty consistent, that there was a verbal argument between victim and accused. I haven't read articles outside of those sources though. I have an open mind, but can only frame my opinion based on what I've read.Facts of a case don't come from police reports but from a trial where witnesses are cross examined. All I've read is there was a fight between Anthony and the twins and he stabbed one of them. That's not enough details to know if this was self-defense or murder.
This is why we have trials. So the facts of the case can be flushed out and examined.

If you provoke the situation, you don’t get to claim self-defense.
Gives background.I understand we live in a world where it's survival of the fittest so I don't expect white folk to repay us for them getting the jump on us. It's on us to get up off the floor and get ours. I'm from the Nation of Islam school of thinking where I'm all about self-reliance. I'm not on this victim Olympics tip.
Actually you do. This is why its important to know the law before speaking on legal matters.
I can pick a fight with you. But if I fear for my life because you and your twin brother might kill me then I can use deadly force to defend myself. The key is proportionality. You can't use force that is disproportionate. Who started the altercation doesn't affect a self-defense case. What affects a self-defense argument is you have to legitimately fear for your life and you must use proportionate force.
The knife is definitely disproportionate unless Karmelo can prove it was two on one and he feared that the two brothers would kill him.
I agree here, and to your last sentence...... the other piece of this case, if true, that will give him problems with self defense is being asked to leave the tent, and then telling the victim, "touch me and see what happens"...... Again, if true and without other evidence that supports his case.Actually you do. This is why its important to know the law before speaking on legal matters.
