The NFL only cares about players insofar as it impacts the money flow. It isn't dependent on skin color. If you replace Hamlin in this situation with any honky defender of the same caliber, they would've handled it exactly the same. And the point about Tom Brady is retarded. Tom Brady gets special treatment because he's Tom Brady, not because he's white. There's plenty of room to criticize the way the NFL treats players, but you're a long way from being able to tie it to racism, imo.

The NFL waited to officially call that game for logistical reasons. They wanted to wait until Damar, his family and first responders could get out of the stadium area swiftly. They didn't want emergency personnel navigated 65K people exiting the stadium

That dude is an absolute idiot. He'll probably end up in a rubber room getting taxpayer $ to sit there.

If you really feel that threatened, then just restrain the kid. You got him by 50 lbs and you can obviously move and have grown man strength. So stupid.

Totally agree. The teacher should have kept his cool and called in the principal or some body else. I read in a separate story that the teacher has had over a 100k raised on a gofundme. I don't codone racial slurs but what in the hell happened to sticks & stones? Some people in the ABC clip were defending that DA.

He was at the end of his rope. I'm totally OK with people sympathizing with him. I can find both sympathetic, actually. I mean, I'd bet all my $ that kid has had a ****** existence to this point. The whole thing is sad.

Because he's a teacher, needs bail, and has legal fees upcoming, and tho he ****ed up, he is also a victim here. I suppose it's the same kind of reasons people gave to Kyle Rittenhouse.

I'm not getting the racial slurs aspect to this. Both folks here look to be the same race and I couldn't make out the audio.

I was kinda surprised the tough kid didn't know how to fight. I understand the teacher's frustration but he should have called for security or a principal.
