That's racist!

Wow. So you are one of those who believe black-on-black crime isnt really an issue. Its much more white-on-black crime right?

It can be an issue without being the only thing black people are allowed to talk about. The conversation that starts, "Hey black people, here's what is and isn't allowed to upset you" has some laughably obvious problems in it

How about some sense of proportionality? If we're talking about a body count, why not start big and work our way to the smaller problems? Not fun enough? Can't blame enough white devils? What is it?

"Hey black people, here's how you should frame the issue and where you should start. I know you didn't ask for my opinion, but I don't think you can think about this correctly without my input, so I'm giving it to you anyway."

Logic doesn't care about your or my race. Choose to be illogical all you would like so long as it aligns you perfectly with the screeching loons who like to point fingers outward, but never like to internalize.

When your logic rests on the assumption that black people can't focus on multiple issues at the same time, it's terrible logic.

I can understand not liking or agreeing with Barkley's opinion. But if he is saying the same thing likeable leaders are espousing and you don't like it, I don't understand that.

All hail King Strawman!

There's nothing strawman about it. No one considers him a "leader" of the black community other than conservatives who drag him on TV to say, "Look, a black person agrees with me!"

To "lead" a community, that community has to lend some weight to your opinion, no?

IMO, people should take care of theirselves first before worrying about other issues....it's ridiculous to be worrying about statues and things of that nature with the issues facing many black communities.

Both leaders you mentioned want the statues removed

I've assumed no such thing. Proportionality is key. Only so many waking hours in a day. Use them wisely. Blaming white devils isn't a logical allocation of your time and effort if you really actually believe that black lives are worth saving. Body count.

"Hey black people, you will accept whatever treatment we give you until you have fixed your own issues. Then you can complain."

"Who decides when we've fixed our issues and can speak up?"

"Well, we do, of course. We'll let you know when you're allowed to speak."

So you are the all seeing eye? Able to discern the pulse of an entire group of people without actually speaking with every single one? Didn't realize I was conversing with a God amongst mortals.

You've apparently assumed that you know how many "waking hours" the 40 million black people in this country have collectively devoted to each issue
