I am loving this kid more and more every day. I love his attitude, and he seems to have that IT factor. If he comes in and balls out it will be one of the most inspirational moments in CFB.
What Yall think?
Think I know the answer, but I'm not sure. How many SEC offers did Pavia have? Not saying he's gonna be the next Pavia, but coaches miss on unrated/low rate guys just like they do with 5 star types. He seems like a good kid but I'm just not sold on his talent. Never had an offer from any SEC school, we'll see.
0 out of HS, not sure about the transfer portal offers. But he was absolutely terrible against us, so I'm not sure that really helps the argument.Think I know the answer, but I'm not sure. DestinyA lot of kids act like they have a chip on their shoulder.
This kid plays like Football will be taken away from him at any moment.
I mean…from no scholarship offer…to JUCO…to APPALACHAIN STATE….to The University of Tennessee is crazy work. Or in my generations vernacular “ legendary “. Think about all the kids these days with their star rankings that flat out FLOP! This kid takes every opportunity and RUNS WITH IT.
Before Nico bailed I stated that UCLA had 8 QBs but really only had one. I was talking about Joey Aguilar. I thought with the offense that they have their now under Sunseri that Aguilar was going to shine in LA.
It so crazy how he is now playing for Tennessee.
Thank you Transfer Portal![]()
I think the same thing. He seems like a really likeable kid. I love the fact that's he's 24 too. He's been through it all and if he's able to pick up the playbook we may shock some folks.Kids a baller. Been the underdog at every stop since HS....juco and ASU. He won the starting job both times and his tape is promising. Gunslinger not afraid to run the ball either. He will put up better numbers than Nico IMO. GO VOLS
Still say 9-3 Most likely this season...same as if Nico was here. Reloading year IMO. Playoff runs in 26 -28
He always struck me as timid. Nothing wrong with that but you don't want that trait in a QBI totally agree with your assessment on Nico IMO he was an enigma. I just never did embrace him as a fan and felt there was no camaraderie with his teammates. Not sure what it was but he just had no magnetism that all great QBs have. He had all the measurables athletically but it always seemed something was missing. I'm excited to see what JA can do, will be the difference in number of Ws how he plays and fits the system.
You must've missed where I predict he will be one of the top QBs in the SEC, and the Vols will beat UGA at home this season in the JD Bickell thread. The $$ says otherwise LOL
Way to go out on a limb lol
