No way.
No business can be conducted unless Obama is sitting at his desk in the Oval office. I read something very similar to that on some Internet political forum.

It has nothing to do with ability and everything to do with perception. 31 people dead, hundreds wounded, Americans unaccounted for, and he watches a baseball game in a dictatorship. His attempts to be strong come off as aloof and uncaring, which I suspect are more his actual feelings on the matter. He is too busy worried about his legacy and future perception to care about some dead people in Europe.

It was all over Fox news.

Heard Kasich and Cruz, iirc, saying this.

But, to be fair, LG, I remember all the Bush shriekers doing the exact same thing during his presidency.

Nothing new here, from either side.

The man himself said that terrorism keeps messing up his presidency. So hard to build a legacy when random extremists keep killing people. He's completely got senioritis, this stuff isn't his problem anymore. He is very focused on how he'll be written about in the history books. No one will care about some dead Europeans, but they'll definitely write about the first US president in decades to visit Cuba. And you can't mess up the story by going home early.

They said Brussels was his fault?

No. I think most people are criticizing his response to not one but two major European terror attacks now. First he didn't go to Paris and now he is sending Kerry to Brussels. He looks weak and sends bad optics to our allies.

Is James Taylor going?
