That game had a huge audience either live on tv or thru YouTube and other social media for the end of it or thru highlites.
i am hearing from and reading about so many college football fans saying they are a primary fan of another school but they have now adopted us as their second favorite team.

Why?
We just beat an unlikable entitled king 🤴 of college football team and their very unlikable curmudgeon coach.
We now play an exciting brand of football.
Our passionate fans are contagious and fun to be around.
Players like HH who are just nice humble guys that don’t brag or berate opponents.
Our “every man” type Head Coach who is so relatable.
Smokey
The Vol Navy
The Pride and running thru the T.
It is indeed Great to be a Tennessee Vol even for those with shared allegiances.
And for those of us who have always had the Vols as our primary love, there’s no 3 finer words to say (and know it’s really true) than..
WE ARE BACK!!!

I watch most games, not just Tennessee games, on YouTube. I don't pay much attention to "watching" numbers but I don't remember seeing a number over 11,000. I did notice that one then started looking at it throughout the game. It reached 73,000 at one point.

Need to run through the rest of these next 6 like Drano.

People cheer when Alabama loses because of the behavior of many Alabama fans. Just look at the many self serving back handed “compliments“ offered by Bama fans. For example:

“Congratulations to my Tennessee friends - glad you finally get to know what winning is like”

Would love to have that old Gypsy in Stephen King’s book “Thinner” put a curse on Bama to make them lose to Tennessee and Auburn every year for a decade. Could call that one “Loser.”

And we cannot forget the amazing FREE Hype from our good friends at ESPN for deciding to host Gollege Game Day in Knoxville twice in 4 weeks. Unprecedented for any program to receive that attention twice in a season, let alone so close together. They were OUR VEHICLE to spreading our brand and helping us become one of the country's most beloved and envied programs. And doesn't hurt to have Peyton on the set, McAfee jumping in the Tennessee River and Corso donning Smokey's head.
BREAKING NEWS: No SH*T, as I write this, HLN is on my TV in the living room and Robin Meade just had a fun little article on how the UT Alumni have raised $68.000 for the new goal posts. They showed the end of the game and the posts being carried out of the stadium and being tossed into the Tennessee river. Who wouldn't want to attend UT and or play for CJH?? Awesome FREE press putting Rocky Top on the map, again!!

My son was at the UGA vs Vandy game. Free tickets and we live close to Athens. He left at halftime and came home to watch the second half. He said all the UGA fans around him were watching the TN / Bama game on their phone at the stadium. He also informed me that every commercial break they played game highlights on the jumbo-tron and the GA fans were cheering loud for the Vols. Bama hate runs deep!

I had 4 old women who were bama fans stop me. Talk ish about tn. Then complain tn fans were talking ish to one blue hairs grand daughter. We made her grand daughter (she was in band for the 3 teethers) cry. I asked her how old is she. She was 19. I said then she doesn't know what it's like to lose to us. Yall know we don't like each other right?

lol, I just watched a youtube video of a gator fans reaction to the Vols "game for the ages" win over the gumps. He was loving us even though he said we was rooting for bama over us because he hates the Vols. Yet he gushed over the Win and appeared to generally love us for a brief moment. Nothing but praises for the Vols.

Like I'm sure so many of you out there, my phone lit up. People I know from all over the US and other countries (Army friends) texting and calling with congrats, and great game comments. Still getting some from work colleagues. The funny part, not a peep from all those Bama friends I have. Haha. I think it’s time to reach out to them. hehe.

My wife and I were traveling back to Fort Worth late last night. We drove to Atlanta and flew to DFW. We were wearing TN shirts and had at least 25 people stop us in the airports to offer congratulations to the Vols and tell us how great they played. On our flight, we also had 6 other Vols fans, who also wore UT shirts.

It was great to hear how many people were aware of our win.

If I were to be thinking about the potential of any player's acceptance speech, I would think this might be the potential of his:

All gratefulness to God, Parents, School, Coaches, Teammates, Fans-Volnation and the opportunity to play in the SEC.
