I realize it hasn't worked out (at least so far), but in principle I still don't really mind the Pruitt hire. Hiring a defensive coordinator from a successful program isn't the worst idea in the world.

My honest opinion it was time for Fulmer to go, we just screwed it up by firing him (with no plan in place for replacement) instead of giving him an admin position and letting him retire.
That said, hiring him as AD was a panic move, and just showed the level of incompetence in the administration. So far not looking good for him. I think he also overpaid to keep Barnes.
Curious what happens when the Basketvols have a tough year this year....

Fulmer should have giving randy sanders just lil more considering. At least sanders is a UT guy. Pruitt is about same level imo

my gosh are you not aware that mike leach wanted the job and fulmer decided on a DC? informed opinions are better than uninformed ones
