We sat in 350. There was a speaker(s) close by that was obnoxiously loud any annoying. The stadium was beautiful. How did everyone like walking up the ramp in the South Tower?

The campus seemed huge. Thank God it is flat. The people were very nice. Before the game, the announcer acknowledged Davy Crockett and Tennessee's involvement at the Alamo which I thought was decent of them.

Definitely a worthy venue for a game. I believe somone told me they spent $1B on renovations. I take that with a grain of salt but it was a really nice stadium. All that money and with great pride in their Engineering schools yet the game clock gets all funky when things get tight.

section 347. They were wonderful hosts before and after. Truly some of the nicest folks I've been around. I thought the stadium was loud, particularly at the end. I've been going to Neyland every year for 35 years and loud is loud. Loved hearing Rocky Top reverberating throughout the place when we scored.

Great expereince but we left the W in Texas.

Please Lord, let us have a rematch in Atlanta with A&M. Please, please, please...would be perfect. No way we would lose to them in Atl.

It's a Bugs Bunny/Three Stooges reference. Not a historical reference.

Thanks for explaining...Doc!

Hi guys, an Aggie stopping by to say you guys were a great visiting fanbase, it was fun having you in town. I posted a longer version of that here, if you care :)

Re: the noise, having sat all over Kyle I will say that it is dramatically louder at field level than in the upper levels. I know a lot of the orange in the stadium was up top, and as for me when I've sat in the upper level I'm always a little bummed that it's not that noisy.

I've been down on the field a few times, though, and it's deafening. I think just the way the stadium is very open up-top lets a lot of the noise out up there.

I haven't been to Neyland, but am looking forward to making the trip when we finally visit you guys. I believe you that it's louder than Kyle, which scares me a bit but I also can't wait to experience it :)

Cheers!

I would add that I heard the Tennessee fans quite clearly while the A&M crowd noise was negligible. (Watched the first half on a phone, but the power came back on 3 minutes into the third qtr.)

I was in 125 (about the 50), row 3. The stadium was loud on about 5-6 Tennessee plays, but my ears never rang like they do at Neyland (even in the upper deck at Neyland). With 106,000 fans, I was pretty surprised. Not a lot of yelling down in our section. I would rank the noise below Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. Did not have a single negative interaction with fans, though. The campus and nightlife are better than Knoxville. My crew had a great time. Kyle Field is gorgeous, but the logistics of getting in and out were almost as bad as the Battle at Bristol. However, Midnight Yell and the yells in general are creepy.
