Troy going to kick a field goal and Doolz calls a timeout, resulting in Troy having time to talk about a play that results in a first dwn and TD.... Pitiful. Jus give them the FG and move on..

Come on man he was trying to freeze the kicker that is all give him a break. If it worked you would have called it a game changer.

That's just Dooleys luck as it has been over his tenure. Wish some people knew what was going on in the game rather than blaming him for every little thing that happens. "When all else fails, blame Dooley" ...... Then post about it

Ok, never mind, then can I thank Dooley for that stellar defensive play on that last drive to give Troy the lead since I don't know what's going on on the field?!

I hope Sal wasn't hired by Hart instead of Dooley. I wouldn't think it hangs on Dooley's shoulders as much as it does Sal's. We should have gone for 6 instead of that field goal put some confidence back into our team from these coaches.

He's not the coordinator. By the field I meant that he called a timeout to not take a penalty. U said to let them kick the fg and move on but that wouldve resulted in a first down and possibly the same result. Kicking a Fg and not going for it, Dooleys call, u can blame him calls he makes, not a D scheme that failed. Next question??

There are fans who watch and cheer but don't know football as well as they think they do so they blame the head coach for everything. Then there's fans who actually know football and the correct people to blame when things happen. Not answer C

This dudes post on another thread before he made this one.

"Anyone , and I mean anyone who says Hunter is ready for the NFL is smokin pure crack. Guy would get cut at first round of cuts during training camp. Sad what has happened to him..."

That's how I know this guy knows nothing about football.

Dead wrong. Dooley could not coach junior high school. He came here from La Tech with a losing record. He has never won a big game at UT. Even gave the Miss State game away. BTY, Miss State pounded by Texas A&M today, 30-something to something like zero. Good thing we play Missouri this year, not T A&M.

Luck has nothing to do with it.

By luck I meant the fact that they were going for 3 until he had to call a TO to not get a penalty. Instead of going for 3 they go for the first and just so happened to score. If its not bad luck then what would u call it. Idk a coach that would call a time out because he knew the other team would go for the first down. I know we are all down and out because the team isn't even close to expectations but blame him for the right stuff not something that he had no control over. He called a TO because that's what he had to do, don't let frustration blind your knowledge of the game.
