As I try to rid my stomach of this sick feeling that comes with barely escaping 2 consecutive home losses to Vandy, I'd like to say a special thanks to:

1. Dennis Rogan for making a play in the return game when we had to have it.

2. Dennis Rogan again, for stringing out that kick return and getting the guy out of bounds outside of FG range.

3. Daniel Lincoln for doing what he was supposed to do when it mattered most.

4. Whoever the Vandy guy was that roughed the kicker. That was the play of the game, and it saved our bacon.

All told, it doesn't matter how you win, just that you do. This Tennessee team sure knows how to put the thrill in it, though.

the SC and Vandy victories are two of the worst feeling victories in my history as a Vol fan.

Would you turn those two words around and say...

the SC and Vandy victories are THE TWO worst feeling victories in my history as a Vol fan.

If you said that.. I'd be calling you out...

IMO.. a Win is a win and I'm proud to say we're undefeated in Neyland this year!

GO VOLS!

I never thought that last year's Air Force game would be overtaken by these 2 wins, but I have to agree.

I just don't see how you would feel bad about the wins. We won. It sets it up to play Kentucky for the SECCG. It wasn't pretty but why get upset about a win. You must not have been watching TN football for very long. Even though we dominate the series against Vandy and Kentucky, there have been many nailbiters and ugly games. This kind of game is a big part of our rivalry. That is what college football is all about. The blow outs are great but so is a win that shows the heart and spirit of our team.
