I just got home from deployment and wanted to say thanks to all you guys and gal's for keeping me updated while I was gone.

One of the great things about being a fan of the Volunteers is knowing that our mascot is rooted in the actions of brave men and women such as yourself. It feels good to cheer for a team that honors those that willingly put their life on the line to protect the citizens and values of the USA.

I hope your vacation is wonderful.

Thank you peeps, and thank God that there are still sites like Volnation where there are no twits who do a protest on a thread like this. After Sept. 11 when people in NYC saw soldiers at the airport, they applauded. Now it seems we are back to the way things were before in some cases, but the status quo beforehand was that Southerners understand that our freedom is a gift that is not free, but is paid for by the willingness of the strong to defend our interests wherever they are threatened.

Thank You, by the way do you happen to be with the 82nd AB? If so, how did your TOW missiles work for you?? Just curious
