Thank you Muschamp!

No Urban Meyer left Muschamp alot of talent. If Fulmer and Kifin left Dooley that much talent we would win the sec this year. Big Difference.

...or at least be much more competitive. What Muschamp was given as a whole is a lot more than what was dropped in Dooley's lap imho.

From the AD on down to recruits.

I don't have a problem with Muschamp...he got the job he wanted and was excited to be winning...no biggie to me.

I live in ACC country and have had multiple co-workers come up to me to discuss Saturday's game. All of them have made a point to mention what a clown Muschamp is and how they dislike the guy without having a dog in the UT vs UF fight.

This is not just a feeling from UT fans....the guy's outbursts are embarassing, especially when you consider that his anger should have been directed at his DB's who couldn't defend the pass without interfering.

It's like the guy expected for the officials to not make the right calls since they weren't in his favor. Officials should have the authority to toss a coach from the game if the coach keeps making a run at them like that.

It amazes me how the NCAA has so many double-standards for player conduct vs coach conduct.

Muschamp wants it!

Well I second that, I wondering if the SEC will get involved with the tirate he had at half time....its one thing to say you peace and go on, but to act like a little kid...Im sure after they see the tape he will see how bad the secondary was....these guys belong on the all hands KR team..just saying..

Had Muschump went off on the refs like that during the game he would of had a sideline warning penalty... instead he did it when they were walking in at half time dog cussing the refs all the way in the locker room... They really should make a rule about that.. It's one thing if he was just talking to them trying to get and explanation but his behavior was unacceptable.. Basketball coaches would of been ejected for half that behavior.. Why aren't football coaches held to the same standard??

He turned UT down after looking over the depth chart and seeing how depleted the team was and how much in shambles the program was at the time. He wanted an easier road and not a challenge that UT presented. He was scared to take a chance. He wanted something easy like Florida or Texas. Yes, he is a whiney baby whus. He would not have been able to turn UT around.

Yeah, because no college coach would have said No to Tennessee and yes to Florida.

does uf assign a handler to shadow muschamp so he doesn't get physical with the refs? there was some guy next to him pushing him away as he tried to get after the ref at halftime.

The Gators still have more talent than we do. C. Rainey, Demps on offense and a terrific front defensive four that again held us to negative rushing yardage was the difference. It might have been a different game if JH didn't tear his ACL but the team must pull together and beat someone in the SEC this year that we are dogs to. I'm dissapointed we still can't run the ball or contain fast guys on the edge. I'm asking for the VOL nation to come and fill the stands for the Buffalow game. There is hope on the defense, just can't understand why we can't contain on the edge. And on offense Arnett played well to help fill the loss of JH.

100 % correct. People saying they are glad he turned UT down are either self-delusional or just full of Shiite. Maybe both. If he was coach here you'd be so happy you had one with fire in his gut.

Nope. I am honestly extremely glad that we didn't hire that clown to be our head coach. He's not going to win anything of significance there, especially not with his own players.

He'll get called on the carpet by supervisor of officials, maybe even Kommisar Saliva. Yep, he definitely acted like a "mus-chump".

I'm surpised he didn't throw the gatorade jug at the official. Coach Mus-chump your guys were grabbing the jerseys why didn't you stop it?

I remember when there was quite the clamoring in '08 for Muschamp when Fulmer was on the chopping block. Then when he turned us down in '10 the sky was falling. Now that he's a gator he's worthless...

That's because people are stupid.

They were clamoring for Mike Leach too. Still want him?

I just don't get it. I know your here all the time but why? Seriously why do you spend so much time on a Tennessee board? I think your like most Florida fans and just want attention. If your a Florida fan go to a UF board and talk about Florida.

I don't get it either

it's actually not. I wouldn't be a fan of the UT coach having to be held back from the officials

But you probably were giddy as a schoolgirl when Kiffin The Brash was spewing his nonsense about Florida cheating.

Look, nobody likes losing to the Gators...again..., but making delusional statements isn't going to help anything.

Florida was a better job for Muschamp than waiting around for Mack Brown to retire. I would say that fulfilling the expectations at Florida will be quite a challenge for Muschamp, so to call him a coward for not following Kiffin's debacle is silly on your part.

As for Dooley, I'm glad we got him, and UT was definitely a step up from Louisiana Tech. In fact, if this program was in better shape, he probably wouldn't have gotten a whiff. He's knows how lucky he is to be here, and that's great for Vol Nation.

I think it is a requirement that in order to be a head football coach at UF you have to be an a$$ hole.

Yeah, because no college coach would have said No to Tennessee and yes to Florida.

He said no to TN before Florida became available. People know he requested to look at the depth chart and said it was too thin and was not the job he was looking for. He wanted something easy because he knows he could not build something on his own like Urban had to do after the Zook slip........Spurrier did in the past........and these are Florida coaches. Bear Bryant took over a 2 win Bama team. I mean do you want an opportunity or be a coach waiting on a guy to fail or die or just a golden opportunity. Brian Kelly even went to Cincy. So sad you can't see this.

Call it silly but some of us know he said no way no how no matter the money when he saw how bare the cupboard really was. I am talking about a fact so it is hard to be delusional with the truth.

how much money did UT offer muschamp? For the right money, he would have taken the job.

People posting that Muschamp accepted the job at UF because it was "easy" ought never be allowed to post anything on the Internet ever again. Anywhere. Ever.

I'm not so sure about that. Muschamp was in a position to cherry pick his next move. We were such damaged goods by the time he got an offer from us, he had to have people telling him to stay away.
