Every coach has ups and downs, the fact is he was one year removed from Atlanta and had several impactful players committed. Instead we replaced him with an inexperienced douche wad who decimated the roster and ran off said recruits. That set UT back years, agent Dooley then castrated us with a spoon

Or maybe you didn't realize that the since Fulmer was fired we've missed a bowl five times and ended with a losing record six times. But yeah, let's whine in retrospect about a losing season in 2008 that was one year after playing for an SEC championship and leading the eventual national championship nearly the entire game.

Firing Fulmer wasn’t a mistake, even hiring Lane wasn’t a mistake. The panic hiring of Dooley was his downfall.
