I guess it's something to appreciate, but it's restricted to 11 other teams, 3 other national championships, and 10 years.

Not to worry, they will end up claiming 2008 as a national championship. If not a bammer will write a book about how they got ripped off, ala "the missing ring".

At a sports bar where I watched the game, the bama fans were telling me "bama got hosed all game" by the refs, who "were against bama"! LOL!!!

Yeah, and win the Sears Trophy. Auburn sorta of got screwed but the bottom line in that our beloved 1998 team is the only SEC team to have a perfect record and the National Title (BCS). LSU won the trophy with 2 freaking losses.

Yes, it is something special.:dance2:

Yea i think they will find a way to lay claim to a NC this year somehow, they are notorious for that. 4 or 5 of their nc claims are from some unknown bs system. "hey ole leroy said we was nashnal champyuns, lets count it boys" !!!

Auburn got ripped off that year. that team with cadillac, ronnie, jason campbell, and carlos rogers was incredible, they deserved to be national champs that year.

One Bammer was saying they got screwed on the Facemask Penalty, saying it wasnt a facemask, and then Florida went on to score and that was the difference in the game...lmao what a joke.

Personally I wanted Bama to win tonight just so we could all see them get steamrolled by OK in the NC game. Oh well, hopefully Florida won't win it either. I'm all for the SEC looking good most of the time, but I can't bring myself to cheer for Florida or Bama to win a NC.

With all of the love the Big 12 has been getting this year, I want FL to beat OK for SEC pride.
