I want to thank Jonathan Crompton for all of his hard work at Tennessee over the last four years. I've never seen a college kid get bashed so badly by his "fans". If everyone on the team had his heart and dedication for Tennessee we'd still be a top 10 program. We've had better QB's but no one with more heart. Thanks JC, and GBO

Thank you Jonathan for not being problem OFF the field. That being said thank you for graduating. Because I am not going to miss your problems ON the field!

Imagine what could have been if Fulmer had figured out how to utilize Crompton...That said, thank you Crompton and Montario and the rest of the seniors who gave it their all for Tennessee. Best of luck in the combine and hopefully you can land yourself a spot on an NFL team.

With all he has endured in his tenure, I believe he has a pass. He has given his all for Tennessee. Piss on his past, the guy has made the most of what he had. Give you 4 didifferet coordinaters in as many years and what do you have? My hat is off to the stached one.

If his teammates came to play he would have done much better last night.

I wish Cromp Daddy had another year to play, he has really been a different play from last year. I hate to see him go.

JC is a true Volunteer. He is all heart, and for what he has endured, he is to be admired. For all those that for some reason STILL want to take shots at him on this board, you should be ashamed. He improved this year by leaps and bounds once he had a real coaching staff and got some of his recievers back healthy and in sych. Phil Fulmer and his lack of coaching ability, 3 different OCs over the last few years, and some pretty weak offensive line play are the reasons for JC's troubles. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

I was as down on JC as anyone at the start of the year. As the year went on, I had whole-heartedly changed my mind. I wasnt Cromptons lack of talent, it was Fulmers lack of coaching to utilize his talent. That and CLK standing by him through the rough parts of the season.

I wish he had another year.....

Good luck JC

Nice thread...well deserved. Best of luck JC...hope your dreams are fulfilled.

I will agree with this one. The kid is a Vol, through and through. He was more a victim of circumstance than anything else. It seems like yesterday i remember reading about a 5 star QB committing and he started recruiting other players immediately. He may not have lived up to "my" hopes for him, but he graduated from UT and gave his all for Tennessee. I wish him well in everything he does.

I'll admit I was one of the many who called for a new starter at QB and I was also a bit worried when CLK first said JC would still be starting at the beginning of the year. however, I'll also admit that i am incredibly proud of JC and I do feel bad about how he had to deal with the more hostile fans that made threats against him, etc.

I guess all I'm trying to say is props to JC for his career comeback, and I hope he has a very succesful remainder of whatever career he hopes to follow after his time at Tennessee. GBO!!!
