Vols lost a ton of talent off of last year's team. They came back this year and made it to Super's. They will reload and be back next season. Tony V. he knows what it take and he along with his coaches will reload this team and get back to the college World Series.

The program has arrived to a place where Tony is apologizing for not getting to Omaha. I like that! Not that an apology was necessary, but to have Omaha as a yearly goal..I love that mentality!

We were oh so close to getting back to Omaha. I’d say we had the toughest path in our Super Regional.

Felt like a bit of a down year after last year obviously, but compared to other recent National Champions we fared pretty well.

It’s hard for me to imagine not seeing Hunter Ensley in a UT uniform. His accomplishments and how he represented TN will never be forgotten by this fan. He’s a true VFL Legend.

What a pleasure it was to see AF, seriously a 65 game on base streak. Liam punishing batters, Hunter punishing walls...again. Our Freshman were amazing. Bright futures. Very successful season. It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated the competitiveness and passion both Liam and Fischer brought to the team, but I can’t get nearly as excited about one year transfers as I do about the loyal VFLs like Ensley, Lipscomb, CMO, Burke, Tears, Ferguson, Zechrist, Beam, Combs, Connell, etc. Just isn’t the same for me but glad they came to Rocky Top. They provided a lot of great memories during their short stint

Getting back to the Super Regionals is not something to dismiss, especially with many heavy weights going down in the regionals. Regardless, fun to watch, enjoyed seeing some young players grow and look forward to doing it again next season. GBO.
