For getting us one step closer to making a coaching change.....Your team is not better than ours...we just have a terrible coaching staff......yes you won today but in a way we have also....because it is more obvious to some that a coaching change is needed and warranted....thanks again:hi:

Bama---without 5 starters--blowing out UT. A total and complete embarrassment. I need a drink.

A crippled Bama . . with a former WR starting on the defensive line.

We are THIN on defense. Saban's doing a masterful job of disguising that on defense. I can't wait until we get a few top-tenish recruiting classes on the field. Then we'll have athletes like . . well . . Tennessee!

It'll be nice to not be physically outmanned after all these years.

LOL...You mean you'll have defenders who are constantly out of position to make plays and generally look lost?

I think that's the gist of about 90% of the threads on this board.

There was a quote of Franchione . . don't remember it exactly . . but the gist of it was how intimidated he was by the athletes he saw across the field in his first game against UT. We lost that one in a close one, won the next on in Knoxville. Point was, Fran knew he was outmanned . . and I think that's part of the reason he bolted for A&M facing the scholly reductions. An already impossible situation was about to get worse (bless Shula's heart . . even Saban's still dealing with it).

Course we know what a bush Fran turned out to be, but still. UT's been one of those teams that seems like they had bigger faster stronger players everywhere on the field--even when we last won the last SEC Championship, with S. Alexander, we simply didn't match up physically with UT . . and we lost.

Unfortunately, that hasn't translated into the kind of success you seek on the field. I've seen the stats. UT is a tale of two programs under Fulmer. You guys had the best thing going through 98, culminating in the NC. But if you look at 99 on the stats aren't so flattering. So it is what it is. I think it's time for a change at UT.

I don't mind losing to SEC teams as bad as losing to out-of-confrence teams but, this is not just losing this is embarassing. I personally think that Fulmer is a pretty good coach. He has won a National Championship. I just think he is to settled in to his position. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I think both sides need a change, UT and Fulmer. It's time to move on.

Why....We all know its time for a change... it isnt gonna happen without something drastic happening....Unfortunately in the sports world thats losses and bad seasons....While I never want to see the VOLS lose and still dont.....I do NOW see it as when we do lose games the way we have been... thats a major RED FLAG and helps in the campaign for a coaching change. Without losses we will continue to be the mediocre team we have been and this will become common.... Ive been a fan for 36 years....went to my first game in 1974.....and I will say it again...I DO NOT root for the VOLS to lose but yesterdays loss is a positive step toward a change in knoxville...I know your sick of the mediocre seasons, Randy Sanders was a scapegoat and guess what....we still look the same.....still look like the exact same football team we did 4 years ago.....that tells me we were all wrong about SAnders and its FUlmer to blame
