I AM NOT Cheering a loss....Think about it....Do you want a coaching change? Are you sick of the same ole same ole?....What has to happen before something is done....? LOSSES.....Apparently Phil isnt capable of bailing out the water from the ship...Its sinking....Having said that if we lose like we did today....then that serves as ammunition for Hamilton...thats all IM saying...

I woke up today the same way I have for this game for the past 36 years.....what I saw today was a joke....that KEEPS GETTING TOLD WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT

I'm an Alabama Alum who lives in Tennessee and has a son that is a student at UT.

I know exactly how you guys feel. I feel like losing to Mississippi State last year, while painful, allowed us to get a good coach.

Not sure if that is the case with you guys, but it's about the only thing that kept us going.

It's a good rivalary and I hope we actually make it more of one moving forward.

Did Bama punt today? This Defense is toast. Alabama is not that good. Wait until they play Auburn or LSU, they will be lucky to score double digits on their defense.

Fulmer will sadly sink with the ship. The Randy Sanders firing took too much emotionally out of the ole man.

it's a win-win situation...
if they win -- great, because a vol victory is always good.
if they lose -- great, because that's one step closer to getting a new coaching staff.

so.. like i said.. it's a win-win situation (in my mind anyway)

Dude I understand what point your making......Like I have never wished a loss on the VOLS ever...but Im tired of the claps, and the "work like heck" week in and week out to no avail....I was a fulmerite up until this year....then I finally saw what so many others had been saying for 4 years......I want FULMER GONE....if we are going to lose games then we are going to lose games....bottom line....If thats the way its going to be and what it takes for a change then so be it.....

I somewhat finally agree with you.......but thanking Bama for a loss and saying we actually won today.....makes me sick to my stomach we got fans like this......more embarrassing then any loss we have had this year :the_finger:

I just want to say to you guys that I was very impressed with the UT-VOL fans today at BDS. We have been treated like crap by a most of the visiting SEC fans this year and it was even worse at J-Ville against FSU. I hope that we have "culled our own clowns" that threw things after the GA game and I would like to commend you folks for the way your fans represented your school today.

I hope that one day in the near future our historic rivalry can return to the mutually respectful rivalry it once was.

Why is it always the Fulmers fault? I am not pro Fulmer, but what about our defense, did you miss the fact that they didn't show up to play the game. Or that good ol' John will not use the pass rush when it's needed?

Fulmer's the HC so the buck stops w/ him. Our defense hasn't shown up for any game this season other than S. Miss and Georgia. They look just as confused now as they did against Cal. I hear him say on his TV show all the time "Yeah, we can't keep doin' that", "We need to fix that", yada yada yada... He either needs to do it or light a fire under the ones delegated to do it.

I'm never happy when we lose to anyone...especially Bama. What irritates me are the reasons why we lose...and lose as badly as we do. Many of those reasons have persisted over time and not just since the beginning of this season.

Dude, the game was a complete embarrassment. JP Wilson is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that makes our D even worse. We made him look like a Heisman candidate.

Well....then enjoy the mediocre seasons.....cuz thats exactly what we are stuck with until changes are made...we should be used to them by now....lets all "clap" and "work like heck to get better" maybe in 5 years we will....the only way we make changes is by showing that they are due....unfortunately the only way a sports team can do that is to have enough bad seasons and not live up to expectations....thats exactly what we have done the past 3-5 years.....

Well hopefully for you BAMA can make it through a season without any violations.....You do know they happened dont you?...or are you one of those bama fans that still to this day believe BAMA never has done anything wrong.......BAMA has never cheated.....lmao
