Still trying to troll with little ole Memphis I see. You do realize that’s pretty pitiful don’t you? You need to take any reference to “orange” out of your moniker. MS State beat them in every phase of the game except the scoreboard so that certainly does not qualify as getting “tooled” whatever that means. Outgained Memphis 2 to 1. Much like when Memphis beat UT in 96, the game turned on a kick return that should not have been allowed. The ref signaled the play dead and it didn’t get reviewed and on top of that, Memphis had two players on the field with the #4. Memphis got lucky. And by the way, I’ll admit they’ve had a few decent years lately in a sad sack conference. Glad for ‘em. They might even be the biggest thing in Shelby County. Kudos for crawling out of the BOTTOM 10 where they resided for most of their history. Meanwhile despite some down years lately, UT is still a top 10 program in wins. One would think that if Memphis was all that, the Little 12 might want them. But alas, they didn’t make the cut again did they? I understand that Conference USA will take them back. But 'tooled' really gets across the point I wanted to make. I think I should be the one who gets to choose the word I want to use.

I don’t know. I do know that in the year 2046 some clown will be talking about what a great program defining win it was beating Miss State in 2021. While at the same time getting ready to discuss next weeks conference game versus Tulsa in the newly formed AIC. That’s short for American Irrelevant Conference. It was formed after the Big 12 added ETSU and Southern Miss. and Memphis State was once again passed over. What's with Memphis getting another bogus TD on a return?

I doubt it . I think as we move closer to expanding the SEC and the CFP we will probably play 9 or 10 conference games a year, an FCS team and then only Power 5 teams. I would have no problem with it though.Do you think UT will have an AD in the interim who'll agree to play Memphis or will it remain, in the words of the illustrious Phil Fulmer, "we have no plans to do so".
Only if the state legislature gets involved and forces it.Do you think UT will have an AD in the interim who'll agree to play Memphis or will it remain, in the words of the illustrious Phil Fulmer, "we have no plans to do so".
