It was very clear that Stewart doesn't have the talent or skills to cover very well. We have had substantial injuries in the secondary and he may be all that was left to put back there. I don't fault him for not having the raw talent. However, what did infuriate me was watching him prance around when he broke up the one pass he was able to do well on. He jumped up and starting prancing around like he was up for the Lombardi trophy and started mouthing off to the PSU receiver. This was after he got burned a couple of times! If I was Cut or Fulmer, his ass would have been chewed off or benched immediately.
That is just one very good example of the lack of discipline on a Fulmer coached team. Unfortunately, the last several bowl games were almost exact replicas. Underperforming, lack of preparedness, like of enthusiasm. Stewart to just one very good example of this.
