Is anyone else addicted to text messaging? There was a time where I put in over 10,000 texts a month...

I hate texting. I dont text unless texted first and i normally end the conversation after 3 or 4 texts. he only time I text is if I want to say perhaps, be at the bowling alley at 6 without calling someone who will not let me off the phone for the next hour

i despise talking on the phone. therefore, most of the time i'd rather text.

be careful driving and texting, i hit my neighbors mailbox and demolished it. i never text and drive anymore.

I have a Motorola Q, so I love texting because of the actual keyboard feel to it. I absolutely never texted before this phone, because I didn't want to hit a button 3 times for my letter of choice.

that's what got me started. I got the V from Verizon 3 yrs ago, it had a full keyboard and I was hooked. Just got the BlackBerry 8830 so I know it won't slow down anytime soon. Also cool to be able to post on VN from anywhere (and play Golden Tee) :)

Zero texts sent by me. Ever. Don't care if I never send one either. I had text messages disabled on my phone too.

i'm with doozer. I typically hate talking on the phone. Especially since I have a large number of friends who are pretty cool to hang out with when with a group, but suck when it's just you and him/her. Being able to text them something quickly instead of hearing them ramble on for hours is well worth hitting a button three times to get my desired letter.

I like to text my boys at college in class,on dorms or while working. I figure if I can get a "I'm okay" response from somebody 3 hours away, is fine by me.

What is the best service for texting in the US?

We do it a bunch over here because it's MUCH cheaper then calling some one. Sounds like it's good training for when I get back!

i got the voyager and it is awesome texting. It seems like i send alot but its only like 600 a month. I dont know how it is possible to send 10,000.

Mass texts and having lots of friends who only communicate long-distance via texting as well.

i was sitting at the tennessee vs. mississippi state game in starkville and the guy in front of me was texting like he was typing...seemed unreal since i am a hunt and peck texter
