We had tara and everybody over. The women were kinda in disbelief mode, the rest of us were screaming.

Its funny though, after he didnt go for two we were like "watch that come back to bite us"..
Im still in disbelief we blew it.

Husband and I ended up in separate parts of the house watching the end of the game. We got tired of hearing each other.

Lol sounds like it got pretty loud at your place too. We drove down to Alabama immediately after to visit with some family. Neither of us spoke a word for about an hour and half of the 2 hour drive.

I did not text anyone this time. I did that during the Oklahoma game and it came back to bite me hard. I tried to let it play out even as people text me saying "Go Vols" and I didn't message back as I wanted to wait till the final whistle to hopefully not jinx it this time. Well, it didn't work.

My wife was already upset and yelling. After the game my little-sh*** brother-in-law, who is a UNC Tarheel fan (even though he never went there but claims on his Facebook page he went to school there) and has NO investment in SEC football, sent me a link to the 65-yard TD play by FL. My wife saw that and threw her phone down. I still can't believe it still works. Yes, it's an android.

When Tennessee went up 20-7 on a field goal I said, "Field goals make me nervous. Tennessee still only up two touchdowns. And with two tds, Florida takes the lead and wins 21-20." That was with 11 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

if id taken a snapshot of my phone it would have said 'honey, love you but when i get home...Tennessee lost by one point in the last two minutes of the game, because our coach made some dumbass calls, again. So please be nice.'

When Hurd made the last touchdown I texted my friends and said "They're starting to hit the exits!"...talking about the Gator fans of course...shortly later I then texted them two more words....The first one rhymed with duck and the second word was me.

Some of y'all need to visit a children's hospital sometime, or go volunteer at a homeless shelter for a little perspective.

Not sure what you mean fade. I know all about the children's hospital reference, as a kid I watched my little sister beat cancer from age 6-10 twice only for it to come back yet again and finish her off at 11. I'm still crazy passionate about my Vols though especially as a late 80s, 90s kid who grew up watching Florida always embarrass us.

While it was all going on I was sadly calm. Up 13 I told my wife I expect us to lose at this point(not wanted it of course). My only hope was for us to have the ball within scoring range, down by maybe 1-3 points. It's the kiss of death to these coaches to have a +7 lead. Without it they never stop pushing because they can't. To my previous comment about being up 1-3 at the end, sure we ended up there but by that point it was due to Florida getting momentum, and our offense already thinking they had it won prior(because of the coaches).

My brother who rarely texts, sent this: "brick by brick"! I responded that the only bricks missing at this point are on the coaching staff.

Zook took over a football program where he was left in pretty good shape following the ol ball coach and did post a .622 win percentage he did not have to rebuild a program that was left to die like CBJ did yes there has been some play calling that is suspect at best but **** happens and he has put us light years away from where we we're when he got here these loses are tuff to swallow but if pay attention we are getting better and the coaches will do the same yes this isn't CM or UC but he did lead them to top 25 rankings the last year at CM and last two at UC give him time like a extra year as he had to completely retool and rebuild this program I to usually want to see everything in place by year three but this was a very different situation. The Wins Will Come

After we didn't try to get a first down and punted to UF with a 6 point lead, this is what I received:

"Your coach is more conservative than Ted Cruz"
