couple of things...
1. Lofton, Crews, Chism, Ramar, well the whole team..are incredible.
2. Refs were TERRIBLE.
3. Durant is the real deal and will be a star in the NBA.
4. That Hill guy needs to cut his hair.
5. The crowd was amazing today, it was SO loud.
and 6. Bruce, Tony Jones, Steve Forbes, and Jason Shay are the sh*t!!!!

one more thing, Ryan Childress...please stop jackin up 3s!!

what a game!!! i can't believe they won...Chris Lofton and Duke Crews were money late.

Just got back from the game, I need to take a nap...Volfreak and I won't be able to talk tomorrow.

There is something about beating Barnes and I wouldn't trade Crews or Chism for Durant right now.

One of my favorite plays of the game, in the second half...

Chism rebounded the ball, dribbled it around in a circle, decided to take it up the court himself, stopped around the arc, and decided to go ahead and drive it to the hoop for a layup.

Just the way they drew it up, I'm sure. :) :lol:

I'm still amazed as to how conditioned the Vols are conditioned compared to other teams. That's one thing that helped them secure this win today. Texas played hard the whole game, but they were a little worn down towards the end.

It's also nice to have some depth..

Come on now, Crews and Chism are going to be great, but Durant has NBA superstar written all over him.

NBA superstar is nice for him, but it wouldn't help us as he'll be gone after this year. I'd rather have Crews and Chism for 4 years than Durant for just 1 year.

I'd hope to hell so since we just beat Memphis, Western Kentucky, OK State, and Texas consecutively. Our SOS is top 25 and our RPI is top 15 I think. Those are all NCAA tourney teams. Our only losses were to Butler and UNC, not too bad.

There is no guarantee that Durant is gone after 1 year, nor that Crews and Chism will be around 4. All I am saying is that Durant is at another level right now, a level that Crews and Chism aren't anywhere near. Crews is getting better each week, and we are lucky to have him. He's going to be a great one. The future of our basketball programs are very bright indeed.

Durant quoted before he committed to Texas that if he had to attend school that he would headed to the pros after one year. That may have changed since, but he actually made the comment he would have gone pro if the rule was not put into affect forcing frosh to play a year in college.

Well according to the "Cut To Bama" thread, it could be any of a few members here on volnation. :)

Seriousy though, I have just about quit trying to figure it out. I guess it will happen with or without me looking and hoping for it.

Been shopping since the game ended.

This team is special. Lofton's shot was special. Wayne Chism showed that he will be able to carry his load.
