Great. I'm not sure whom to argue with at the moment. "Nobody cares about the Alamo anymore?" Really? I guess we should forget Gettysburg, Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima, etc... because, they occurred a long time ago. I have a very rich family history as it pertains to Texas. If you've ever seen the "Come and Take It" flag - that was my great-great-great grandfather's battle flag - his name was James Clinton Neill.

And, to the next guy, "lousy braggart windbag state"? Can't argue the "braggart" part but Texas is a pretty bad-ass state. There are a lot of similarities between Texas and Tennessee. I wonder if you've ever heard the line from Davy Crockett, "You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas."

I grew up in the panhandle(Pampa/Amarillo) and if not for the fact that I was born and spent the rest of my early childhood and late teenage years in east Tennessee I would probably consider myself a Texan. I still have a lot of family in Dallas/Fort Worth. I love Texas, but what that D-bag said pissed me off. If we as people, forget or just don't care about the sacrifices that have been made...then we all deserve the fall that comes.

You realize we only trail you by around 2,000 seats. And that will be taken care of here soon. We're expected to fall around 117,000 total capacity. We might even redo GodzillaTron if someone else makes one bigger.

We hire the right coaches? Then yes. Until this year we had no problem selling out every game with a long waiting list for season tickets. Enjoy your time in the sun this year, little brother. It ain't gonna last...

That's grounds for a public hanging, son! And yes, we Texans will forever be indebted to the Volunteer State. Anyone who tells you different, don't try kickin' em in the balls because they probably don't have any. There were some fine folks from North Alabama as well. Right in my dad's little hometown of Courtland, actually.

And I doubt anyone will be crying this year, but it is rather depressing.

Longhorns and Aggies arguing on a Vol site. Says a lot about who has the best message board in sports, doesn't it? On another note, I wish Texas would just grow a pair and join the SEC along with the Aggies, who already want to. Also haven't had a chance to congratulate you on a great season 07.

I've always said Texags cant hold a candle to VN. As far as Sip boards go, the best part of ShaggyBevo is the MSPaint creations. Other than that, its just some degenerates. HornFans is not worth looking at.

and thanks manfromtn. It was fun to watch this year.

I would like nothing more, believe me. The problem is that ousux comes with the deal, and then you'd have the sand aggies up North *****in' and moanin' about being left out. It goes on and on...
