It’s a lot of money but to put in perceptive it increases their athletic budget by 5.7% next year. That percentage will decrease as revenue increases each year from increased tv and ticket sales. Assuming this contract is paid out evenly over the 15 years.

It is strange that aTm hasn’t been successful since the long old days of black and white T.V. They have alumni and oil money (probably more) than the other Texas schools. They are the state’s Land Grant and sold their scripts after most thus earning more money.

Is the administration just inbred/line bred over the decades? Seems to be plausible since they just can’t win! Who remembers the Dennis Franchion deal where he had in his Bama contract that he could leave for aTm free of penalty?

Market research favors a long term trend from gobbledygook to gobbledydung.
😂

On Reddit someone explained what they do as essentially being outsourced marketing. When Company XYZ wants to put a sign up in Kyle Field, they negotiate with this company instead of the school, and the company gets a cut. Sounds like it is about taking that kind of stuff off of the school's hands to focus on other stuff. Their website does a really good at making what they do sound a lot more complicated than that, lol
