My aggie buddy may have me a ticket. I now just have to convince the wife it is a good idea for me to go down there without her. I don't anticipate that going well.

Hotel and travel arrangements are done, but I called the university to see about getting tickets and was told they are currently only available to certain season ticket holders. I'm assuming this is by rank and donation, and I'm just a measly no donation upper decker for the past 3 years :)

That being said, I didn't have this problem with my Florida tickets last year. Anyone know when they will be available to the rest of us? Tia.

If you need me to talk to her, we'll call it a mandatory trip for VolNation mods. :)

Depending on kickoff time, might be a day tripper for me and the fam. You can bet the Houston alumni chapter will be out there in full force as well

We'll be staying in a small apt we found thru Airbnb. Apparently, a lot of people stay there for graduations and games, fairly close to Kyle Field. As far as tix are concerned, we bit the bullet and bought from stubhub. My husband, being, a Longhorn, says you have to experience a game in College Station. Plus he is always game to see the Aggies get beat!

Flights are so expensive to college station and its a 16 hour drive for me

I had a job years ago that took me to most of the college towns in the US--your best bet if you really want to go is to fly into Houston and rent a car. Usually cheap at hobby/bush.

Yes College Station is ridiculous in and out. Coworker lives in CS and his flights to my territory got charged against my budget and it used to piss me off because of the cost. He refused to drive 90 miles to Houston. If I break down and go, I plan to fly to Houston and make his ass pick me up.

That's the spirit.

Jump higher Vols.

If things continue, they won't have a stadium to play in. They will burn that place down. They had two decommits yesterday including a 5 star QB to which the coach went ballistic on Twitter on the kid causing their top WR to drop them and their top WR target to say he will look elsewhere. It's already burning in college station. If they find the money, Sumlin gets fired this year if he don't win 10.

I have a hotel but no tickets yet. Looking for 4 but they are too pricey on stubhub. Maybe they lose a couple early and prices come down.

how are they already available on stub hub? Tickets are never mailed out in May
