Texas A&M at Notre Dame

Notre Dame is out of playoff hunt at this point. It would take a miracle for them to get back.

Notre dame gets the benefit of the doubt. If theu win out (certainly a possibility given their weak schedule) then they will be in the playoff discussion at the end.

ND hardest game is probably Arkansas remaining.

If a 10-2 Notre Dame team makes it into the playoffs then the sec/big 10 need to riot.

Notre Dame is an 8-4 sec team this year at best

They are still alive and Clemson is too

Clemson is alive but they won't win out. Clemson has a chance because they are in a conference.

Notre Dame isn't in a conference. I think they are in a precarious spot right now. They weren't even that high of a seed last year at 11-1 (didn't get bye).

It is feasible with more losses and ACC/Big12 haven't been necessarily killing it outside of FSU and Miami.

So ND drops from 8 to 10 with that loss since they lost to a ranked team? LOL
They’ll drop more since it’s the second loss, but after a 3 point loss to a top 10 team and a last second 1-point loss to another ranked team, they’ll still remain ranked at this point.

They should be OUT of top 25. Below USF and Vanderbuilt.
I’m just describing how the Poll ranking trends generally work in these situations. If this was a third loss for this team, they’d plummet like a rock, even with the situation they’ve had (a 3 point loss to a top 10 team and a last second 1-point loss to another ranked team)

Nah. Let them win out and all the talking heads will be all about how good they are and deserve to be in the CFP. If they drop out, let them win three games and they'll be ranked again.
