Terry Joseph officially going to Nebraska

If true, I think Sal gets a LB coach, with a graduate assistant at DB.

We will be fine. I'm not overly concerned. I'm sure the coaches have known that this was a possibility longer than we have and they have contingency plans. It is at least the best time of year to lose your recruiting coordinator (not that there is a good time of year...it's just all relative).

It's also possible that replacing Joseph was a part of the master plan anyway. No evidence there though.

Please...no one respond to the troll. I can't bear another thread derailed into this subject. Not everything discussion is about Dooley. If you want to have a Dooley discussion then go join one of the others. This is about Joseph.

Edit: troll post was removed. Thank God.

I'm pretty sure we don't have a master plan. What we're waiting till every assistant worth a piss finds other employment and take the best leftovers?

There is a bright side in that this allows Sunseri to bring in his own guy.

Sunseri must have someone in mind he wants

DD and Sal will make another great hire that's an elite recruiter, and all will be well. I hate to lose CTJ, but I would rather have our staff completely gel, and that will more likely happen since Sal will have his own guys in place.

I'm sorry but 7 coaches leaving is not a good sign. He was the recruiting coordinator too and he jumps ship the weekend of Junior Days. NOT GOOD and completely unprofessional for both him and Pellini to pull this **** this weekend.

In before the merge! Because, you know, one thread to discuss this just isn't enough.

Spin it any way you want. Seven coaches departing is not a good thing.

Also, I would make Hinshaw the recruiting coordinator and give him a raise...he deserves both of them with what he is doing on the recruiting trail.

6 of the 7 former coaches took lateral moves, none were promoted to OC, DC, HC. And the other 1 had enough and retired.

Which button should I push.
