UT Football assistant and former Vol Terry Fair relieved of coaching duties

I hate to see this. I think he is a really good cb coach. When he left last time, our Cornerbacks play dropped off, even if he was just a graduate assistant.

Any chance we get Derrick Ansley back? He coached at UT in 2012 and also spent 2 years as the DB coach under Pruitt at Bama. Coaching under Gruden out in Oakland right now. I know UGA went after him and would love it if we could get him instead.

I don't like seeing Fair go. We had the best pair of true freshmen corners in the country this past season. Obviously, Thompson and Taylor's abilities have a lot to do with that, but Fair deserves credit as well. That being said, we probably got a little better today.
