Was just hearing that Bobby Bowden called WVU to lobby for Terry. Said Terry is ready to coach again and has assembled a "Staff to Drool for". If this is correct look for Terry Bowden to take over at West Va.:whistling:

Maybe but you never know...he could have been sitting back studying the game as it is now and building a very respectable offensive scheme....who knows...I forgot to add that Bobby B supposedly offered to help Terry Recruit once he left FSU....and 3 of the potential staff members are from WVA

If terry bowden, who's been out of football for years, lands one of the top jobs in college football, the hiring system is totally screwed up. There are 100 coaches out there better than terry bowden. What a #%^#$## joke!

Terry Bowden has to start at the bottom again, with a 1-AA school and prove himself again.

I heard someone discussing WV vs the UCLA job on ESPN radio. They thought WV was the better job. UCLA had better weather, but was in a tougher conference and WV had an easier shot to the NC in the Big East. LA vs Morgantown no comparison but from coaching/conference WV was better.

Funny, I seem to remember that the last time Bobby Bowden ''lobbied'' for one of his kids that didn't work out so well. See e.g. Jeff Bowden.

Yeah....but the majority of the so called "assembled staff" had major WVA ties.....The AD from WVA was going to announce today that a head coach was being named...(i forgot the name can find out wasnt impressive tho) when Bobby called and talked to the AD....because of that phone conversation about Terry and the future help Bobby was willing to give WVA the AD did not hold that annoucement......

If Ed Pastilong chooses Terry Bowden over Doc Holliday, he will have signed his own termination notice. The program's two biggest boosters have already turned against him. Hiring a dweeb like Buster Brown will clinch his demise.
