Anything new about this kid?

From what I've heard... He's not really thrilled about west virginia and he doesn't want to play in Tebow's shadow for a year...

Do we still have a chance at this kid.. He narrowed it down to four schools.
1. Ohio State
2. Florida
3. Tennessee
4. West Virginia

Go Vols!

I wish we had a chance, but I dont see him turning down OSU.

OSU with a lead at this point. WV/UT in the group slightly behind OSU. UF behind WV/UT in fourth. We've got to get him on campus to have a chance.

he's pretty much a buckeye already, from the reports i've seen. some kids just like the pub and recruiting attention and don't want it to end until it has to in Feb. word to the wise... forget him and go on.

No its exciting and i love building all the hype up about a guy and then get my feelings hurt when he chooses another school at the last minute.. It feels great.. Gosh im gonna build a lot of hope up for him and then i cant wait until he chooses Ohio State at the Army All American game!!!

If OSU gets Blown out in the championship game maybe he changes his mind. I know not likely but there is always hope.

Correct! Because if we have learned anything through the years of following recruiting it is that these kids always do what we expect them to do and they never change their mind.

It would be the second time in as many years. Maybe this guy likes that kind of hype too.

No one is better than The OSU at talking up a big game and then losing to the SEC in bowl games (0-8). He could be part of that hype in few years, ya' know.

They do have a great 'hype' machine for QB's--how else can you explain how a 5th rounder wins the Heisman (other than it is a silly award with no credibility--which may be equally as plausible)?

It's his choice... follow the footsteps of Troy (somebody) who was drafted by somebody as a backup QB or follow PM (whose name need not be spelled out, of course)! Tough choice for a high schooler, I'm sure, given all the things you can do with a Heisman (didn't OJ steal his back or was that something else?).

the rare surprises are far more the exception than the rule. good luck with your pryor recruiting fantasy. hope you're right.

what indications?

Normal rumor mill and the two recruiting services. According to rumors he is apparently he is calling several other Ohio State recruits and talking to them about the team they're going to have next year and stuff like that. Ohio State is closer to his home, PA and OH have a lot in common. He has already visited Ohio State and said he loved it. I don't think he has set up a visit for us or plans to. "Done deal" was maybe too strong a word but I think we would have to be VERY lucky to get him.

I know a guy who does real estate in Knoxville, and he tells me that Terrelle's grandmama is closing on a new home in town tomorrow.

Also, I know a guy that lives in Pryor's hometown...he says that he stood behind Pryor one night in line at Taco Bell, and Pryor was humming "Rocky Top" while waiting for his order.

Don't shoot the messenger.
