BTW, it's about time to put the "2017 schedule" on the front page.....right?

Or wait until we're in the middle of the season?

Tennessee is 30-35 ATS under Butch. They are 3-1 versus the spread versus FBS competition in season openers under him, however. Vols win. Flip a coin ATS.

If our d line is at least decent then I could see a 7-10 point win but if we are getting gashed by the run reminiscent of the Vandy game we could lose easily.

I think we come out hard and fast. Take an early lead. Squander that lead in the second half, then pull away for a 10 point win. Yes...this will happen.

Bit of back and fourth in 1st half.

Defense makes halftime adjustments. We pull away to win by 10 in second half.

Been over on the GT Football Forum. They seem to think, due to our defense last year, that they'll run all over our D, as in several hundred rushing yards. They think Shoops D is very vanilla and not a lot of respect for Hoke. A little ticked that UT is a 3.5 point favorite and want to know why it would be an upset if they beat us (pointed to Finebaum saying it would be the #7 upset of the year). Also defending the cut blocks they use. They're having a good laugh at CBJ's comment "Our APR turnaround is the greatest win in Tennessee football history that nobody really knows". Hadn't heard that one but it was on a Rucker tweet.
